The Alteryx Sales team is looking for Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) to drive analytic‑led digital transformation within high‑potential prospects and customers. The ISR team is an integral part of our wider go‑to‑market and sales strategy and will have direct impact on Alteryx’s continued growth. The role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities by engaging with end users and analytic leaders across functional business groups.
Responsibilities- Lead full‑cycle sales from prospect through close.
- Identify and cultivate prospects through targeted account planning and outbound communication tactics (phone, email, and social media).
- Build relationships to gain a deep understanding of the customer’s processes and problems, and bring value to every interaction.
- Connect prospect’s business objectives—both functional and corporate—with Alteryx solutions in a customer‑centric manner.
- Develop, manage, and grow pipeline through prospecting, expansions, customer success, and collaboration with supporting go‑to‑market organizations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Alteryx platform and product portfolio, and effectively demo and articulate the Alteryx value proposition.
- Efficiently manage a high volume of outbound and inbound communications, demos, and customer wins.
- Achieve sales results while accurately managing the business through forecasting, pipeline, and business planning.
- Minimum of 2 years of quota‑carrying sales experience at a software/technology company.
- Experience identifying and closing quick sales wins.
- Experience selling to and influencing software users, mid‑level managers, and C‑level executives while building consensus across their teams.
- Track record of qualifying and/or closing software transactions.
- Exceptional time and people management skills to marshal resources and advance opportunities.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic: ambition and a willingness to work hard are critical attributes for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Base salary range in the United States: $57,000–$72,000.
- On‑Target‑Earnings range: $95,000–$120,000.
- Monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work‑related expenses.
