The RoleAs a Senior Living Placement Agent, you'll work directly with families to understand their loved one's care needs, budget, and preferences, then match them with vetted senior living communities. You'll manage each family from first conversation through move-in, earning a referral commission for every successful placement.
This is a hybrid role: you'll work from home for calls and follow-ups, and get out into the field to tour communities and meet families in person when it counts.
What You’ll Do- Respond quickly to inbound family inquiries and referrals
- Conduct needs assessments over the phone, by video, and in person
- Recommend and coordinate tours of assisted living, memory care, independent living, and residential care communities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local senior living community partners
- Guide families through the decision and move-in process with patience and empathy
- Follow up consistently to ensure a smooth placement and a positive family experience
- Track leads, activity, and placements in the CRM
- Develop local referral sources (hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, elder law attorneys, home health agencies)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills — you genuinely enjoy helping people
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently toward commission-based goals
- Excellent phone, written, and in‑person communication
- Organized, responsive, and reliable with follow‑through
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for tours and meetings
- Comfortable with a CRM and standard digital tools
- Experience in senior living, home care, hospice, healthcare sales, or social work
- Existing network of local healthcare or senior‑care referral sources
- Knowledge of levels of care and the senior living landscape
This is a commission-based role with strong earning potential for motivated agents.
Commission Structure- Commission paid per successful placement — 20% of the net referral fee collected on each successful placement
- Commissions are paid once the community pays out on the placement — 30 days after the resident has completed the 30-day guarantee period
- Typical placement commissions:
Independent Living — $3,000 rent to $600 commission - Personal Care / Assisted Living — $5,000 rent to $1,000 commission
- Memory Care — $7,000 rent to $1,400 commission per placement
- Uncapped earning potential — the more families you help, the more you earn
