Candidates joining Wind Mar Home will be part of a mission-driven team advancing clean, reliable energy for households in growing markets.
This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Associate role based in Orlando, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Associate will engage prospective customers through in-person and virtual consultations, educate homeowners on the benefits of residential solar solutions, and guide them through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement. Responsibilities include managing leads, conducting needs assessments, preparing and presenting customized proposals, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff, participating in local events or outreach campaigns, and following up with customers to support satisfaction and referrals. Success in this position requires consistent goal achievement, proactive communication, and a strong customer service mindset.
- Demonstrated sales skills, including lead qualification, consultative selling, and closing deals in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with capacity to explain technical concepts (such as solar or home energy) in clear, accessible language.
- Comfort with technology, including CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and basic office software.
- Customer service orientation, with a track record of building trust, handling objections professionally, and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a pipeline of prospects, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in residential solar, home improvement, or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn the solar industry is essential.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule from Orlando, FL, including occasional evenings or weekends based on customer availability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local customer visits and events.
