Job Overview
Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, is currently hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This territory covers about 1‑1.5 hours around Columbus, and the successful candidate must live in this area. The role is a hybrid of remote work and field visits, with a 80% travel requirement to provide solutions‑based selling to clients.
CompensationBase salary range: $59,000.00 – $88,400.00. Eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $32,000.00. Compensation may vary based on location and candidate experience.
What You’ll Do- Develop a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue streams from an assigned book of business across the Cox Automotive suite.
- Collaborate with team members in multiple departments at various auction locations and other Cox Automotive business units to ensure client service and client experience is constantly improving.
- Develop opportunities with assigned key accounts for other Cox Automotive Solutions groups and collaborate with the sales teams to close these opportunities.
- Consultative solutions selling at the client’s place of business.
- Create value‑added solutions based on process to help clients and Inventory Solutions transact constantly and exceed sales goals.
- Leverage Salesforce as a selling tool and informational resource.
- Minimum required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years of sales experience. Alternate qualifications: master’s degree and 2 years of experience, Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years of sales experience. - Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Working knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and best practices.
- Skills in communication, customer service, and relationship building.
- Knowledge of auctions, inventory solutions, and Cox Automotive wholesale solutions.
- Professional experience with – navigation, report generation, data mining.
- Experience in selling and servicing an account list; proven track record of growing accounts from an existing base.
- Field visits to other sites, dealerships, auctions.
- Must clear a pre‑employment drug test; marijuana testing is not administered but possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours on company property or in company vehicles is prohibited.
