Territory Sales Manager – Dallas, TX (Remote, 50% Travel)
As the Territory Sales Manager you will support overall sales and organizational goals covering the Dallas‑Arkansas‑N.Louisiana market, assisting existing and new customers in meeting or exceeding their specific business objectives through the sale and demonstration of Smart Storage products.
Responsibilities- Grow the business within the assigned territory by maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business through relationship development, cold calling, and customer meetings.
- Analyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development.
- Keep up to date with industry news and trends to identify new business prospects.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate business and sales.
- Act as a liaison between the Customer, Customer Service, and Manufacturing Facility.
- Achieve revenue targets and KPIs such as product quotas, yearly sales quotas, NPD sales requirements, and minimum quote funnel requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with the Regional Sales Manager, other Territory Sales Managers, Segment Managers, National Distribution Manager, and Storage Solutions representatives.
- Develop a complete knowledge and understanding of all Smart Storage products.
- Conduct distributor and end‑user product training on all Storage Solutions products and offerings.
- Develop and leverage distributor partnerships to meet assigned territory revenue targets.
- Manage and operate within a specified travel and entertainment budget.
- Abide by Stanley Black & Decker Business Conduct rules and regulations.
- Travel within the territory daily, and travel outside the territory for training, company‑wide meetings, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business, Sales, Management or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
- Experience with direct sales as well as sales through dealers/distributors.
- Ability to develop and present programs to both customers and the sales organization.
- Knowledgeable with computers, MS Office, CAD software, and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and execute responsibilities.
- Self‑motivated with high energy and strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent driving record.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time and work on weekends or outside core business hours as required.
