Overview

Territory Sales Manager – Columbus, OH (Remote US, 50% travel)

Responsibilities
  • Grow the business within the assigned Ohio territory through existing customer relationship management and prospecting new accounts via cold calling, meetings, and industry events.
  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for sales and market share expansion.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan, setting and achieving revenue targets, product quotas, and sales KPI’s.
  • Act as liaison among customers, customer service, manufacturing, and internal sales teams to coordinate projects and account needs.
  • Provide distributor and end‑user product training on Smart Storage solutions, including new products and digital tools.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of all Smart Storage products and manage the territory’s travel, entertainment, and budget in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of sales experience with industrial or complex commercial products, including direct sales and distributor channels.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and KPI’s.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with high energy, excellent time‑management, and independent execution of responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CAD software, and
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; readiness to travel daily within the territory and on weekends for trade shows or client meetings.
Travel & Working Hours

Required daily territory travel, weekend and evening availability for trade shows, customer meetings, and other business events. 50% travel.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary plus target variable compensation:
    Total Target Cash Compensation range $84,000 – $135,240.
