This full-time hybrid Trade Sales Representative role is based in Maryland Heights, MO, with a combination of in-office, field, and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and managing trade accounts such as contractors, builders, and remodelers, as well as responding to inquiries and preparing accurate quotes and proposals for window and door products. The role involves conducting on-site visits, taking measurements, reviewing project specifications, and providing product recommendations that align with customer needs and budget.
The Trade Sales Representative will coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery, order accuracy, and issue resolution, while maintaining detailed records in the company’s CRM or sales systems. This role also includes meeting sales targets, participating in sales meetings and trainings, and representing Arch City Window at industry events or trade shows when required.
- Demonstrated experience in trade or B2B sales, preferably in building materials, windows, doors, or related construction products.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to support contractors, builders, and other trade partners professionally.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to present solutions, handle objections, and close sales.
- Comfort with basic measurements, reading project plans, and understanding construction or remodeling workflows.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as CRM systems, email, and standard office software to manage leads, quotes, and customer records.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment while meeting deadlines and sales goals.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits and site meetings in the local area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or construction-related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in the St. Louis or Maryland Heights market and knowledge of local trade networks is beneficial.
