Job Summary
The Waterfront Rescue Mission is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety-minded and team‑oriented associate for our Waterfront Online Store in Pensacola, FL. Under the supervision of the Online Store Manager, the associate will identify premium donations with high potential for sale online, list them on appropriate platforms, store and ship items, and perform any related duties.

- Ability to read and write.
- Must have a valid Florida driver’s license or a valid photo identification card and be insurable by the WRM’s insurance carrier if driving is an essential function.
- Adaptability to changes in incoming items as volume and frequency of donations vary day‑to‑day.
- Experience in online selling preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify high‑value soft goods such as clothing, shoes, and purses for online posting and sale.
- Manage online sales accounts on platforms such as eBay, Big Commerce, and Facebook Marketplace.
- Create and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and persuasive descriptions, appropriate pricing, and high‑quality visuals.
- Monitor inventory levels, update stock availability, and coordinate with the in‑store team to ensure accurate product information.
- Process online orders promptly and accurately, including packaging, shipping, and tracking.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive feedback and ratings.
- Stay updated on marketplace trends, competition, and best practices to enhance our online presence and drive continuous improvement.
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions. The employee regularly sits, uses hands to manipulate items, reaches with hands and arms, and speaks and listens. The employee frequently stands, walks, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls, and occasionally must talk or hear. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include depth perception.
Employees may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate.
