THE ROLE:

  • Reporting to the Vice President of Sales – Food service, the National Account Manager will manage, negotiate, and develop Food Service US accounts, ensuring profitable growth through client relationships, sales planning, and strategy execution.
  • Implement growth strategies to develop key markets and expand current customer base.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing food service clients.
  • Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing on brand strategy, new product launches, promotions, and advertising.
  • Provide monthly reports on bookings, forecasts, and sales alignment.

PROFILE:

  • Experience in negotiations, achieving sales goals, relationship building, customer training, and process management.
  • Experience with Corporate Broadline Food service and managing category RFI and RFPs.
  • Knowledge of the food service industry, especially in Frozen and/or Canned Vegetables.
  • At least 5 years of major account management in food service; private label experience in frozen or canned vegetables is a plus.
  • Home-based role with approximately 20% travel within the US.
  • College degree required.
