About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with strong knowledge of the construction industry to join our growing sales team. This role is focused on identifying, qualifying, and engaging with contractors primarily in Division 9 (flooring, drywall, finishes) and Division 3 (concrete) to generate high-quality sales opportunities. You’ll be using tools like Hub Spot, Apollo, Gong, and dialers (Nooks, Orum) to drive outbound engagement and build customized outreach strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify qualified prospects within the construction industry.
  • Execute outbound prospecting via calls and email sequences to contractors and decision‑makers.
  • Qualify accounts and contacts based on project scope, company size (10–50+ employees), and key decision‑makers (CFO, CIO, CEO, estimators).
  • Customize and refine email sequences to increase engagement.
  • Use Hub Spot and Apollo for outreach, and leverage dialers such as Nooks or Orum for efficient calling.
  • Review calls and pipeline activity to continuously improve performance.
  • Perform data enrichment and cleansing to maintain accurate records.
  • Overcome challenges where clients may have limited digital presence (weak websites, minimal Linked In activity) by finding alternative ways to qualify leads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify multiple points of contact within organizations and expand account penetration.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the construction industry with understanding of project costs and assumptions.
  • Proven cold calling skills with the ability to engage contractors and decision‑makers.
  • Strong English communication skills, reading, speaking, and writing.
  • High attention to detail with a process‑driven approach.
  • Experience in account qualification and building outreach strategies.
  • Ability to manage and clean prospect data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling into Division 9 or Division 3 contractors.
  • Familiarity with SaaS or construction technology solutions.
  • Experience customizing outbound email sequences for higher response rates.
  • Prior use of tools such as Hub Spot, Apollo, Orum, or Nooks.
