Overview
Executive Search Consultant specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain
Join a growing Trucking company as a freight broker in the logistics industry. This is a full-time position and at least 3 years’ experience as a freight broker is required. This position is in Tyler, Texas
, however remote work is an option.
$80,000.00/yr - $/yr
Duties and responsibilities- Generate new business by identifying and prospecting potential customers by cold calling and growing existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle by generating new leads, providing quotes to clients, closing deals and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Source and guarantee reliable carriers to match customer needs allowing efficient and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Negotiate with bother shippers and carriers to achieve profit maximization whilst aiding in our ability to offer competitive pricing.
- Provide excellent customer satisfaction by building a strong relationship with both clients and carriers throughout the process by eradicating issues and providing updates when necessary.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure the process is succeeding and to investigate issues such as delays.
- Record all activities such as sales, customer interactions, customer information and carrier information within the company CRM.
- Have years of experience in Logistics, operations management and Freight brokerage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Have knowledge of some of these freight types
- Domestic truckload, Dry van, Flatbed, Reefer or Refrigerated. - Have a desire to grow within the company as there are plans for expansion in the future
- Track record of success as a broker with an understanding of freight markets and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both carriers and clients.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently continuously demonstrating initiative and drive.
