The Account Manager Workforce Health (WFH) is a business and strategy expert in the field of employer services. The focus of this position is building positive client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction and patient experience within operational effectiveness. The WFH account manager actively collaborates with client stakeholders – including insurance brokers, third party administrators, employers and other client vendors to build a strong working relationship.
This includes the development, coordination, and implementation of contracted services for employers and promotion/sales of employer services, with an emphasis on Occupational Health. As a WFH team member, the manager proactively collaborates with other WFH departments to identify, upsell, cross sell, and assure renewal opportunities with clients. Collaborates closely with clients to promote and retain positive client relationships and acts as a trusted advisor, inspiring confidence to support mutual objectives with WFH.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships with insurers, third party administrators, employers, and client vendors.
- Co‑ordinate and implement contracted employer services, with an emphasis on Occupational Health.
- Promote and sell employer services, including identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Work with cross‑functional WFH departments to identify renewal opportunities and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor and inspire confidence to support client objectives.
- Minimum 5 years of employer/employee client management or related experience.
- Experience with analytically challenging projects, market analysis, healthcare analytics, and communication/facilitation.
- Experience in strategy development, client relationship enhancement, business development, and insurance broker or business advising.
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Business Management, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Client/project management and relationship building training.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CRM software experience.
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal, written, virtual, in person).
- Ability to succeed in a virtual environment.
- Epic experience desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Basic working knowledge of healthcare law and contracting.
- Understanding of sales and business development functions.
- Experience working with marketing and communication teams.
- Meticulous, able to synthesize information from multiple sources and provide constructive input.
- Virtual and in‑person client meeting facilitation.
