Position OverviewThis role supports the Opportunity to Order function for the United States and Canada within the Global Sales & Customer Success Organization at Siemens DI SW. Responsibilities include quote creation, proposal generation, order packet validation, process and tools, global policies, pricing agreements, sales forecasting, and tracking. The role operates under the supervision of the Sales Operations Manager and independently handles complex tasks such as assessing discounting, product rights, and credit requests.
It requires flexibility to work long hours at quarter‑end, serve in a backup capacity, or respond to management requests. Knowledge of Business Objects customer database, Avalera Cert Capture, Icertis, DAMEX, and related export documentation may be necessary.
- Work closely with Sales Account Orchestrators, Inside Product Specialists, and the Academic team to create, revise, submit, and track quotes/orders through order completion.
- Monitor dashboards for RFQ and Request for Quote, providing quotes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support RFC and Request for Contracts, managing contract documents through the Icertis system.
- Prepare order documentation for tax status via Avalera Cert Capture and for export via DAMEX as needed.
- Monitor pipeline for payer numbers and credit increase requests, both individually and at end‑of‑quarter.
- Understand and adhere to company sales processes and policies.
- Display flexibility by working overtime during quarter‑end periods, in backup roles, or per management directives.
- Possibly interface with the Business Objects customer database and comprehend key customer discounting and product rights.
- Typically 3‑4 years of experience in Sales Operations or an Opportunity to Order role.
- University degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with standard Microsoft Office tools.

- Understanding of sales processes, including sales cycles, accounts, territory, opportunity, and pipeline management.
- Remote work environment acceptable; limited travel may be requested.
