Partner Account Director
As a Partner Account Director, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing strong, long‑lasting relationships with our Franchise, Mid‑Market, and SME partners.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders at large Dealership Groups in the UK to ensure they receive maximum value from the partnership and achieve their business objectives. Your goal is to develop and drive a long‑term strategy that embeds the company into their business and enables revenue growth.
Partner Relationship Management- Unblock, build, and foster strong, strategic relationships with key decision‑makers at partner organisations, focusing on senior‑level stakeholders.
- Embed yourself within partner organisations to understand drivers and internal dynamics that influence decision‑making.
- Proactively identify partner needs, goals, and pain points, and develop solutions to address them.
- Develop a thorough understanding of how industry trends and macroeconomic factors impact partner businesses and their approach to third parties.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on product usage, best practices, and industry trends.
- Provide compelling data insights to help drive engagement at senior level.
- Conduct business reviews to assess partner satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement and revenue growth.
- Drive product adoption and usage within partner organisations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling within existing accounts.
- Unlock opportunities to increase penetration within partner groups.
- Collaborate with sales teams to generate new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and renewals to optimise revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Mitigate partner churn through early risk identification. Monitor partner health metrics and proactively address any issues that may arise.
- Leverage data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Use data to inform strategic decisions and measure the impact of partner initiatives.
- Develop and implement data‑driven strategies to improve partner engagement and retention.
- 4+ years in Account Management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex products to diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of an organisation, including C‑Suite.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics tools.
- A passion for technology and a desire to help partners succeed.
- Knowledge of the UK Automotive Retail Industry.
- Experience working in a Marketplace business.
