Partner with the BestAs a Sr. Strategic Account Executive, you work with some of our largest and most strategic Financial Services accounts. You will create and maximize revenue generation within Akamai’s most important customers in emerging markets, grow relationships through high‑value solutions, and strengthen ties at all levels including executive staff.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of a revenue plan to grow your existing customer base through identifying and selling additional software and services.
- Identify, develop and close new business with Akamai customers through successful engagements and relationship building.
- Deliver joint value proposition through in‑person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, training, and other events.
- Act as a trusted advisor to our customers and lead the integrated account team to deliver success.
- Champion and maintain trusted high‑level relationships with customers and field teams through business understanding and knowledge.
- Have 12 years of relevant enterprise sales experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Have a track record of selling enterprise‑class security software, SaaS, or internet‑based technology solutions to enterprise companies.
- Have demonstrated experience selling into strategic financial services accounts.
- Be well‑versed in engaging, influencing and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.

CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US‑based candidates only – the On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $245,000 to $441,000 per year; the OTE is determined by relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
