Inside Sales Representative - NIC Components

Responsibilities- Manage the overall account relationship by providing strategic service and support to the assigned customer base. Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value‑added solution selling. Work with internal and external resources to facilitate quoting, demand fulfillment, on‑time delivery of orders, engineering support, and troubleshooting of other customer problems. Serve as key liaison between suppliers and customers to build and establish long‑term business partnerships for Arrow.
- Drive Sales Excellence through development and management of customer strategy in the assigned account territory. Require thorough knowledge and accountability of supply‑chain engagements such as e‑Compass, Consignments, and CARES (Customer Automated Replenishment System). Sell and capture opportunities through Synergistic products (e.g., White Space Report, PEMCO Mix), Reverse Logistics, GBC (Global Business Conversion), and ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition). Sell and drive solutions selling within the approved account‑level strategy, using knowledge of the competitive landscape to make informed sales decisions.
- Provide ongoing Sales Support activities for the Order to Invoice process. Own the customer interface for backend quality processes: corrective actions and Field Quality Reports. Own and maintain the Perfect Order Index (POI) and inventory integrity to minimize write‑offs and bill‑backs. Own the customer interface for important credit and financial information and coordinate all available resources and support functions.
- Own the overall customer Quote‑to‑Order sales objectives. Set strategy for the quote process, coordinate resources, and process customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value‑Add, and SSG). Validate EOL and item‑class changes (NCNR), negotiate pricing and quote markup, and notify customers of any price increases.
- This role requires participation in a sales‑compensation plan. A portion of on‑target earnings (OTE) will be variable and tied to specific sales‑related goals set by Arrow. The posted compensation is the base only; the OTE for this position will be 80 k+.
- Typically requires a 4‑year degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Salesforce and intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sales experience.
If located in a hybrid location, this position will follow a hybrid schedule of 2 days in the office and 3 days per week from home. If located in a remote location, the employee must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $23.98 – $29.31. Actual offer may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
LocationUS‑NY‑Melville, New York (Quad). Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work‑related purposes at the company’s request and sole discretion.
