Territory Sales Manager – Ohio Market (Stanley Black & Decker)
50% Travel required.
Job SummarySupport overall sales and organizational goals covering the Ohio market. Assist existing and new customers in meeting or exceeding their business objectives by selling and demonstrating the Smart Storage brands, Vidmar® and LISTA®. Responsibilities include achieving sales quotas, increasing new customer base, and maintaining existing customers through direct and distribution sales models.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the business within the assigned territory by maintaining existing customer relationships and generating new business through relationship development, cold calling, and customer meetings.
- Analyze competitor activities and assess opportunities for business development.
- Keep up-to-date with industry news and trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences as needed to generate business and sales.
- Act as liaison between the Customer, Customer Service, and Manufacturing Facility.
- Work to achieve revenue targets and KPIs such as product quotas, yearly sales quotas, NPD sales requirements, and minimum quote funnel requirements.
- Co‑ordinate activities with Regional Sales Manager, other Territory Sales Managers, Segment Managers, National Distribution Manager, and other representatives.
- Develop a complete knowledge of all Vidmar® and LISTA® products.
- Conduct distributor and end‑user product training on all products and offerings.
- Leverage distributor partnerships to meet assigned territory revenue targets.
- Manage travel and entertainment budget.
- Abide by Stanley Black & Decker Business Conduct rules and regulations.
- Travel duties include calling on end users, distributors, and local TSMs to drive sales.
- Limited additional travel outside the territory may be required for training and company‑wide meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business, Sales, Management or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial or related complex commercial product sales.
- Experience with direct sales as well as dealer/distributor channels preferred.
- Ability to develop and present programs to customers and sales organization.
- Proficient with computers, MS Office, and CAD software.

- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to travel every day within the territory and on weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Target cash compensation range: $84,000 – $135,240. Includes eligible sales incentive plan or commission.
