Sales Engineer
Packaging Compliance Labs provides packaging validation, engineering solutions, and contract packaging services to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Our organization partners with medical device manufacturers, development firms, startups, and contract manufacturers to remove packaging barriers that could delay or jeopardize product launches. By focusing on compliance and reliability, Packaging Compliance Labs helps clients bring safe, effective products to market efficiently.
Our team operates in a highly regulated environment, offering specialized expertise in packaging performance and regulatory standards. We are looking to add a new Sr. Sales Engineer to our amazing Commercial team to provide technical sales support and help us continue to grow our business!
- Prepare and deliver presentations in person and virtually explaining PCL services to clients and prospective clients; secure new clients through quotes and proposals
- Identify new sales opportunities and upsells; collaborate with sales counterparts on technical support and recommend PCL services to solve client problems
- Develop and manage a personal portfolio of key accounts; manage CRM contacts and participate in sales strategy and system development
- Research and develop new service and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the Leadership Team; identify industry trends and provide data for future investment decisions
- Host and execute Lunch and Learns for contract manufacturers and current and prospective clients
- Provide technical insights to the team by breaking down complex technical processes into understandable formats for client adoption
- Promote and represent PCL at trade events and conferences; 50%+ travel may be required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to model PCL values in all client interactions
- A sound understanding of ISO 11607 and all PCL services
- A strong work ethic and proven skills in research, networking, and technical sales
- Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 5–10 years' experience in engineering, technical sales, project management, or product development; medical packaging engineering experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; demonstrated record of success
- Sales training and mentorship will be provided
This position is salary exempt, plus commission. The pay range varies depending on skills, abilities, relevant experience, and length of service with the company
