Sales Manager, Business Development
Do you have experience selling scientific instruments to chemistry labs? Looking for a refreshing culture? Please read on, this one may be your next home. The Account Manager will drive sales of process analytical instruments within the Mid-Atlantic area
Location: Home office based in the Mid-Atlantic area
In This Role You Will:Achieve or exceed sales budget for assigned products in the specified territory
Establish self as a trusted, inspiring leader by analyzing customer problems, mastering product & application knowledge, and differentiating our client from the competition
Build trust with customers and colleagues and maintain the highest level of integrity while building long-term relationships
Develop, coordinate and execute a strategic territory plan to include the methodology needed to achieve sales growth including all sales and related activities
Cover multi-state territory, 25%- 50% travel
Ideal Skills/Knowledge:B.S., M.S. or Ph.D in Chemistry, Engineering or a related STEM degree
3 or more years of sales experience, ideally selling scientific instruments to chemistry R&D
Experience managing the full sales cycle independently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking skills
Knowledge of process analytical instruments, such as spectroscopy, is a plus
