Position OverviewThis role supports the Opportunity to Order function for the United States and Canada within Siemens DI SW, serving the Global Sales & Customer Success (GSCS) Organization. The employee will apply Opportunity to Order (O2O) knowledge to complete a wide range of complex tasks, including quote creation, proposal generation, order packet validation, process and tool management, global policies, pricing agreements, sales forecasting, and tracking.
The position operates under the supervision of a Sales Operations Manager but is expected to work independently on major responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Account Orchestrators, Inside Product Specialists, and the Academic team to create, revise, submit, and track quotes/orders through order completion.
- Monitor dashboards for RFQ and Request for Quote activities, ensuring timely and efficient quote provision.
- Provide support via RFC (Request for Contracts) for contract documents through the Icertis system.
- Prepare order documentation for tax status via Avalera Cert Capture.
- Prepare order documentation for DAMEX for export purposes as needed.
- Monitor pipeline for Payer numbers and Credit Increase Requests throughout the period, including end‑of‑quarter (EOQ) reviews.
- Understand and apply company processes and policies related to the sales process.
- Be flexible to work long hours at quarter‑end, in backup roles, or as requested by management.
- Possibly work with Business Objects customer database.
- For times when required, understand key customer discounting and product rights.
- Typical experience of 3–4 years in Sales Operations or an Opportunity to Order role.
- University degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with preferred.
- Ability to manage individual workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Results‑oriented mindset with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives or projects.
- Understanding of sales processes, including sales cycles, account management, territory management, opportunity management, and pipeline management.
- Remote work environment acceptable; limited travel may be requested.
