What’s the role?We are looking for an Account Executive, Small Business to join our Sales Team. You will use proactive and inbound selling strategies to find and close new business, and increase the customer’s usage of the Hub Spot platform over time. You will use your knowledge of digital transformation and change management to act as a trusted advisor and business consultant, running the sales process end to end.
This role will cover Emerging Markets (SEA).
Responsibilities- Run a full sales cycle and close new business and install base at or above quota on a monthly cadence
- Find new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads
- Run qualification calls with C‑level executives and department leaders
- Run online, and occasionally in person, product demonstrations
- Sell through internal champions to multiple stakeholders, as well as directly to C‑level
- Work collaboratively with Hub Spot’s marketing and technology departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced
- 2+ years of full closing experience in the Small Business space with a focus on SaaS technology, preferably in Emerging Markets (SEA) or North Asia
- Experience in a complex selling environment
- Presented and pitched to C‑level executives on business change
- Management of monthly and annual pipeline with proven accuracy in forecasting
- Goal‑oriented with a track record of overachieving on monthly and annual targets
- Trained and/or certified in a standardized sales method (e.g., Sandler)
- Proven ability to drive results, be resilient during challenging sales situations, demonstrate a customer‑first mentality and a strong growth mindset
- Understanding of how businesses grow and confidence in advising C‑level executives on growth strategies
- Genuine curiosity about business and technology
- Growth mindset and habit of seeking feedback for self‑development
- High performance in areas outside of professional work (e.g., hobbies, side business, sport, creative)
- Experience taking on additional responsibility in a team environment (e.g., coaching, mentoring, team projects)
