Job Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly outreach goals including demo and call volume while providing an excellent experience for prospective clients
- Connect with quality addressable market accounts in the prospect pipeline through written and verbal communication to book demos that showcase the Pitch Book product offering, help expand audiences within sales cycles through additional demonstrations, and drive deal closure
- Drive engagement with prospects through personally crafted messages and outreach and/or marketing provided materials via Highspot
- Utilize Outreach to assist in regular and timely communication with potential clients
- Act as a consultant to prospects by seeking to understand their needs and business priorities
- Guide potential clients through needs analysis and discovery sessions to qualify leads and drive new opportunities
- Work closely with Senior Business Development Representatives to learn about the needs of our clients and the end‑to‑end sales cycle
- Work continuously to document the details of each prospective client interaction in Salesforce to improve the customer experience and drive deal closure
- Consistent follow‑up on prospective client inquiries
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of successful sales experience, with a technology product preferred
- Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
- Interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital
- Love to prospect – you will act as the engine of our sales team, warming up leads to be shared with Outside Sales
- Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results
- Highly curious with a positive attitude
- Terrific prioritization skills to handle the large volume of leads efficiently
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and can effectively close leads
- Team player with entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to try new ideas to achieve greater levels of success
- Self‑motivated, persistent, and goal‑oriented and can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including in‑depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Working ConditionsMost roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on‑going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
