Senior Oncology Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic execution across a complex territory/multi-state geography.
- Expand relationships with healthcare providers and influential stakeholders to ensure appropriate use of oncology therapies.
- Use advanced analytics and market insights to refine territory strategy and influence internal planning.
- Partner cross-functionally to address clinical, operational, and access challenges.
- Represent field perspectives in brand planning and contribute to tactical innovation.
- Identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and unmet needs in the territory.
- Model excellence in compliance, professionalism, and ethical engagement.
- Lead strategic pull-through initiatives with access and reimbursement teams.
- Serve as a field ambassador for new product launches, pilots, and strategic initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, integrated delivery networks, and institutional decision-makers.
- Support regional leadership with business planning, training, and performance calibration.
- Mentor junior team members; share best practices and support skill development.
- BS/BA in related discipline + 9 years related experience; or Master’s in related discipline + 7 years related experience; or equivalent combination.
- Minimum 5 years oncology sales experience.
- Launch experience required.
- Ability to present complex clinical information and persuade.
- Strong business planning; ability to work independently.
- Relationship management, customer focus, teamwork, communication, and influence/persuasion.
Up to 50%.
