Job Overview

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Mobile Mortgage Specialist to join its Mobile Mortgage Sales Force. The role focuses on developing new business and building a client base through referrals and strategic sales initiatives within a fast‑paced market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and referral partners such as realtors, builders, and financial planners.
  • Target residential mortgage referrals and identify opportunities to close sales.
  • Participate in targeted sales training and continuously improve credit knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Use TD’s sales management system to track activity, manage pipeline and report results.
  • Engage in monthly coaching sessions and joint sales calls with the Senior District Sales Manager.
  • Maintain an Excel‑style sales log and use email, network and phone tools to support daily tasks.
  • Comply with all regulatory and internal compliance requirements for mortgage sales.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales track‑record with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer‑service, networking and relationship‑management skills.
  • Self‑starter, independent, proactive, and able to manage self‑directed work.
  • Knowledge of retail banking and/or credit adjudication is a plus.
  • Post‑secondary education preferred; a first‑time entry candidate with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Strong ability to develop new business and close deals in a competitive market.
