Full-time Hybrid – Must reside and travel at least 2-3 days per week in the territory.

- This job operates in a hybrid environment between a home office, school, community, and event environments.
- Territory sales – must currently reside in/near the location full-time to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
Hours may vary based on the team and customer's needs. Evenings and weekends may be required.
Travel RequirementTravel in the field with Sales Pros to help develop new accounts and increase sales in current accounts – expected to be ten (10) or more business days a month as well as time participating in regional Coaches Clinics/Shows, conferences, and territory events.
How You Will Make an ImpactBSN Sports is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead and support the front line in the sports industry. An Area Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing sales, gross margin, and maximizing market share in the assigned territory while demonstrating core values and high ethical standards.
Responsibilities- Sales Management & Training:
Coach/train Sales Pros on product knowledge, professional sales techniques, company culture, and procedures; motivate them to exceed goals and develop professional habits; resolve problems timely; ensure adherence to company policy. - Business Development:
Travel to develop new accounts and increase sales in current accounts – expected to be ten (10) or more business days a month. - Recruiting:
Develop a pipeline of future Sales Pros; interview and recruit the best talent. - Sales:
Ensure sales pros in the assigned territory meet or exceed sales and margin goals. - Territory & Company Development:
Evaluate account performance; assist Regional Sales Director and Sales VP with planning and presentations; participate in regional trade shows; lead weekly regional sales huddles and training sessions.

- 2+ years of prior sales team management experience (5-10 direct reports).
