About the Role
Associate Director, Hematology Regional Marketing – Southeast Region (Florida, Atlanta, Alabama, South Carolina). This senior in‑market position focuses on Thought Leader engagements, brand strategy support, speaker management, and regional congress activities.
Responsibilities- Support brand strategy by providing key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.
- Assist in the execution of approved Advisory Boards and identify Healthcare Professional (HCP) consultants as outlined in the Consultant Engagement Project Brief.
- Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards, regional and national physician discussions, and disease‑state conversations aligned with approved on‑label messaging.
- Engage with assigned Thought Leaders to solicit feedback and incorporate insights into regional plans.
- Participate in congresses and other industry meetings: conduct 1:1 meetings with HCPs, attend sessions, and promote compliant collaboration with field and home‑office teams.
- Provide input and support in developing account plans for sales, and manage Speaker engagement programs, including identification, development, and training of HCP speakers.
- Ensure compliance with BMS guiding principles for all branded and unbranded speaker programs.
- Monitor speaker performance at live programs to evaluate effectiveness and capabilities.
- Collaborate with home‑office marketing, sales, and cross‑functional teams to provide customer insights and support strategy execution.
- Assist in the development and execution of the Home Office brand strategy within the regions.
- Minimum five years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or field medical.
- Minimum five years of experience in Hematology or specialty therapeutics.
- Bachelor’s degree required or higher; advanced degree preferred.
- Marketing, sales management, and/or launch experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Thought Leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureaus strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a large geographic territory.
- Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and effectively meet their needs.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of market dynamics, business drivers, corporate goals, and strategy impact.
- Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
- Self‑driven with strong organizing and planning skills; able to determine effective approaches and take appropriate action based on available information.
- Highly collaborative, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to try innovative, compliant approaches to solve work problems and opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) by air or car; availability for evenings and select weekends.

Compensation OverviewField – United States – $166,350 to $201,571 annually. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final individual compensation will be determined by demonstrated experience.
