Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology and is seeking a Senior Monitoring Sales Representative to join our Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) sales team in the Iowa and Nebraska region.

A Day in the Life

This remote position requires the candidate to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts. A valid driver's license is essential.

In this role you will promote the ACM portfolio to specialists and clinical/technical professionals, manage territory planning and organization, control expenses, provide product education, gather market intelligence, build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, and ensure timely follow‑up and resolution of technical issues, including after‑hours support when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek to develop and expand your territory via management and selling skills; plan and execute work to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Serve as the product expert and provide education and training to all clinical end users and hospital staff in the assigned territory.
  • Gather market intelligence (product, price, promotion, discount etc.) by observation, discussion, or research, and seek to develop new business opportunities.
  • Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Ensure timely follow‑up and prompt resolution to customer and patient technical and product issues, including after‑hours support when needed.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 8+ years of field sales experience.
  • Associate’s Degree and at least 6+ years of field sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4+ years of field sales experience.
Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of hospital or medical sales experience.
  • Clinical experience or background selling clinically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills coupled with patience and persistence to follow through.
  • Highly organized with good time‑management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Driven, self‑motivated individual who can work well autonomously.
Benefits & Compensation

Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $90,000.00. Base salary may vary based on experience, certification, market conditions, and location.

Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) providing opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding goals.
