About the Role
Senior Account Executive, Workplace Technologies & Services (WTS) who sells Canon’s hardware and software solutions and helps customers adopt new technology. The role is based near Durham, NC and requires the candidate to live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Your Impact- Master the core capabilities of innovative products, solutions, and technologies from Canon USA and third‑party providers, and promote those benefits to customers to drive sales and achieve revenue goals.
- Proficiently learn and utilize the Salesforce CRM platform to manage client and prospect accounts.
- Actively contact an assigned account base via calls, email campaigns, and social media to develop sales opportunities and establish engagement.
- Conduct in‑person discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations, leading strategic conversations with business owners, executives, and other stakeholders to uncover customer requirements and business challenges.
- Focus on an optimal customer experience throughout the sales process by developing strategic plans that address short‑term and long‑term needs to generate new revenue streams.
- Leverage a team of technology subject matter experts to enrich knowledge, facilitate sales wins, and achieve customer goals through collaboration.
- Develop and nurture high‑level relationships within the customer base to enhance long‑term viability and deeper account penetration.
As a Canon USA sales professional, you’ll have access to tools such as Zoom Info, ROI assessment tools, market‑specific pricing, case studies, and a business development team.
About You:The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of business‑to‑business sales or customer‑facing experience.
- Possess a passion for learning new technology and services in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Track record of persuading others to adopt innovative ideas.
- Strong communication skills focused on building working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage time precisely.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the local market (valid driver’s license required).
Base salary range: $50,000 – $63,160 per year. Potential incentive compensation up to $62,869 annually at 100% quota. Eligible for a transportation allowance and car allowance.

Workstyle DescriptionThis full‑time position offers a hybrid work schedule. You will report to the local office as directed, be available for customers in‑person or remotely, and may work from home other business days, subject to business needs.
