As Regional Director of Sales, you will lead revenue growth and expand our presence across a defined multi‑state region, working closely with regional and national sales leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role is responsible for developing strategic relationships with key regional clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving both new and existing account growth.
You’ll operate as a trusted advisor to clients while partnering cross‑functionally to ensure consistent execution and long‑term success.
- On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $144,000 – $160,000
- Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000

Bi‑weekly fixed contribution plus monthly variable mileage reimbursement - Remote work with up to 50% travel within designated territory
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across a defined multi‑state region (typically 4–8 states).
- Partner with national sales to prospect and target 18–20 key regional accounts (5K–20K units), building a strong pipeline of new opportunities.
- Expand existing accounts while strategically aligning with broader sales coverage to minimize overlap with national and local territories.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to client organizations.
- Conduct needs assessments, identify client challenges, and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with regional and national stakeholders.
- Manage a broad regional account base while contributing to nationwide sales initiatives and long‑term growth strategy.
- Partner with marketing, operations, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activity, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and adjust strategy.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to win new business and expand existing relationships.
- Track performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and results.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior sales team members to drive development and performance.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and drive business development.
- Maintain CRM discipline, keeping Salesforce updated with accurate pipeline, client activity, and opportunity tracking.
- Proven B2B sales experience – minimum 5 years, bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong experience in the multifamily industry – experience selling into multifamily strong preferred; background as an RSE, Market Director, or similar role a plus.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing large account bases through multi‑level, relationship‑driven selling.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth against defined KPIs and quotas.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Solution‑based selling mindset and ability to articulate value in competitive environments.
- Team player who partners effectively with both regional field sales teams and national sales leadership.
- Data‑driven – comfortable using data to inform decisions, track performance, and refine strategy.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong rapport‑building and trust‑establishing skills across diverse clients and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across a multi‑state territory.
