Field Sales Representative - Houston, TX

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Houston, TX, Field Travel Tuesday-Thursday, Monday and Friday Working from Home
Pay: $60,000-$70,000 base salary + commission potential

Overview

We are partnering with a growing organization within the multifamily services industry to identify a Field Sales Representative for the Houston market. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and growing market share throughout an assigned territory. This is a true outside sales position, requiring regular face-to-face customer interaction and territory management.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-driven, and excited to build a long-term career in sales. Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and field-based outreach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, ownership groups, and key decision-makers
  • Manage and grow an existing customer base throughout the assigned territory
  • Conduct sales presentations, proposal meetings, and customer consultations
  • Develop territory growth plans and execute against monthly and annual goals
  • Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate pipeline and customer activity records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Travel throughout the Houston market to support business development efforts
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1-3 years of sales, business development, or related experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Highly motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Experience with prospecting and relationship-building preferred
  • Multifamily housing, property management, facilities services, or related industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
