As an Account Executive within our Large Law Firm segment, you will drive growth for Lexis Nexis AI solutions across the legal and professional services market. This is a pure hunting role where you'll prospect a named account list of "Large Law" firms, partnering with stakeholders to understand their challenges and present solutions that streamline workflows and boost productivity. Your work will help shape how knowledge work evolves through responsible, high-impact AI.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage a named account list and be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting to onboarding, launching, and growing new users
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and other key sales metrics
- Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Lexis Nexis's solutions to meet client needs, collaborating closely with product and segment teams to stay updated on the latest AI advancements and tailor solutions to meet client goals
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their pain points and aligning Lexis Nexis's solutions with their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the power of Lexis Nexis's AI systems to prospects and clients
- Develop our sales playbook to enable scaling, documenting learnings that can be applied across accounts
- Track record of selling complex software solutions to professional services firms, with the ability to successfully execute on a consultative, solutions-oriented, value-based selling methodology
- Ability to lead a complex, multi-threaded sale with stakeholders ranging from executives across various functions to day-to-day product users - especially the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Passion for Lexis Nexis's mission and strong understanding of AI and its potential applications in knowledge work and interest in the legal profession and helping lawyers do their jobs better and more efficiently
- Excited about prospecting, and capable of leading a sales cycle from start to finish, quarterbacking cross-functional resources (Client Development Partners, Pre Sales Consultants, Sales Specialists, etc.)
- Energized by contributing to the development of our sales processes and team-driven sales culture, refining the value proposition of our solutions and helping create sales resources to drive our success
- Have the ability to travel up to 20% within your assigned territory
Primary Location Base Pay Range:
Home based-Illinois $85,500 - $158,600. Total Target Cash Range: $131,500 - $244,300. If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $89,600 - $166,200, the total target cash range is $137,800 - $255,900. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $81,400 - $151,100, Total Target Cash Range: $125,300 - $232,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
