Overview
The Franchise Business Development Executive is responsible for driving new business revenue by prospecting, developing, and closing opportunities within an assigned territory. This role focuses on acquiring new franchise dealer customers through strategic outreach, consultative selling, and effective pipeline management. The Business Development Executive partners closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition of new accounts and long‑term customer success.
Responsibilities- Sell products and/or services to customers and transition the account to an Account Executive for ongoing service and growth.
- Develop new accounts and pursue sales leads within the assigned territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service segment.
- Respond to customer inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and/or services.
- Work in tandem with the Account Executive sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
- Effectively communicate across multiple internal channels and execute sales strategy to identify new opportunities/leads.
- Operate both short‑ and long‑cycle sales and possess a working understanding of company products and services.
- Travel once a quarter to the assigned territory and prospects, as required.
- Sales‑focused mindset with a bias toward action.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with accountability using key metrics.
- Proven ability to build a sales pipeline through hunting, prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Strong communication skills over phone, in person, and video conferencing with prospects.
- Self‑driven, consistently contacting a large prospect base.
- Experience with both short and long sales cycles, excellent presentation and customer relationship building skills.
- Ability to leverage the extended team to succeed in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years of successful sales experience (software or ad‑tech sales ideal).
- Demonstrated consistent quota attainment and a continuous desire to win.
Total Target Compensation Range
: $93,100.00 – $ (base salary + variable).
