Position: Sales Manager (SMB)

Overview

For our client, we are seeking a Sales Manager (smb) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a Business Services environment.

Location:

San Francisco, CA. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $220,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives
  • Drive pipeline conversion and increase deal velocity
  • Build repeatable sales playbooks leveraging product-led growth
  • Coach reps on effective discovery, demo efficiency, and closing
  • Ensure accuracy of sales forecasts in a high-activity environment
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance lead quality and conversion rates
  • Implement scalable systems to support team performance
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years experience managing an SMB sales team with 7+ AEs
  • Proven record of overseeing $10K-$50K ARR deal closures within 30-60 day sales cycles
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced sales environments, preferably PLG or inbound-led
  • Strong expertise in pipeline management and forecasting
  • Coaching focus on efficiency and consistency across deals
  • Ability to develop early-career sellers into high performers
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally to enhance lead flow and funnel efficiency
