Rare Disease Business Manager – Alpha-1 supporting Little Rock, AR and surrounding areas. Join a patient‑focused, innovation‑driven company that empowers employees to deliver life‑changing work.

• Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retaining patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
• Focus on healthcare professionals—including Pulmonology, Allergy/Immunology, Respiratory Therapists, and selected Internal Medicine/Primary Care—to educate and inform them about Takeda brands for Alpha‑1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
• Build the National Sales and Marketing Strategy in a compliant manner and create a territory business tactical plan to maximize opportunity.
• Conduct calls on prospective customers, deliver master sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations, and maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
• Partner with home office personnel, Marketing/Brand team, and National and Corporate account teams to pull-through product sales.
• Use Microsoft applications and Takeda’s customer management system.
• Conduct community education events for healthcare professionals and patients, and work occasional nights and weekends as needed.
• Promote the Takeda culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities.

• Clinical sales background with a bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• Five or more years of demonstrated successful and relevant healthcare experience.
• Live within the territory and manage it border‑to‑border.
• Work collaboratively with patient services, customer service, marketing, market access, contracts, national accounts, hospital team, and operations.
• Understand customer motivations, needs, and reimbursement challenges.
• Organizational and territory‑planning skills.
• Ability to excel both as a team member and an individual contributor.
• Proficiency in acquiring and interpreting data to create sales strategies.
• Experience influencing HCPs to prescribe specialty biologics (injections/infusions); experience with specialty pharmacies preferred.
• Knowledge of plasma‑derived therapies, rare diseases, or biotech is desirable.
• Travel: up to 50% overnight travel; local travel and occasional weekends.
• At least 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
