Position: Regional Sales Director - Public- & Pharmaceutical Sector (Remote, DEU)
Location: Germany

About the Role

A key member of the Central European Field Sales Leadership team, you will be the Regional Sales Director for the Public‑ and Pharmaceutical Sectors in Germany, overseeing Regional Sales Managers to drive sales strategy and goal attainment.

What You’ll Do
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Communicate corporate strategy to employees within the German region.
  • Plan and direct activities including sales pipeline generation, forecasting, customer relationship development and satisfaction.
  • Establish short‑term and long‑term goals, metrics, and quotas in line with corporate and regional objectives.
  • Identify and enable needed resources for supporting the German sales strategy.
  • Identify and qualify important sales opportunities within the German region at the management level.
  • Act as coach, mentor and educator to all Regional Sales Managers within the German region.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes that may impact expected business results.
What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience with, knowledge of, and network within the German New Business market, notably within the tech industry.
  • Experience in a first‑line sales leader role and having worked in a people leadership position is required.
  • Passionate relationship building and executive‑level negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
  • Experience with selling into Public Sector Accounts in Germany.
  • Experience as a successful Regional Sales Director with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in the German region.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills.
  • Written and spoken fluency in German and English.
