In the Nutrition Division you will conceive and implement short, medium, and long‑term training strategies aligned with area sales, marketing and business leaders. You will design, develop and deliver training programs to all positions in the U.S. commercial organization, continuously updating the training curriculum to address evolving needs, including new and pipeline products.
Responsibilities- Conceive and implement short, medium, and long‑term training strategies in coordination with area sales, marketing, and business leaders.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance and impact performance of the U.S. commercial organization.
- Continue to develop, update, and maintain the entire training curriculum for evolving needs, including new and pipeline products.
- Manage the assessment of training effectiveness and take corrective actions to continually improve the quality of training delivered.
- Identify and deliver training programs addressing broader needs of the organization with appropriate measures of impact.
- Execute training programs via virtual, classroom or field‑based settings, utilizing global programs when appropriate, delivering to U.S. markets.
- Support internal sales, field sales, marketing and cross‑functional partners in identifying and executing existing and new programs to address skills needs.
- Ensure production and prompt execution of testing and assessment of focus areas; ensure assessments meet corporate and business standards and compliance.
- Lead a team that executes training programs and delivers in virtual, classroom or field‑based settings.
- Ensure appropriate communication with team participants and stakeholders; debrief managers responsible for trainees on performance.
- Lead developmental programs for District Sales Trainers across the U.S.
- Conduct field travel minimally 2 weeks/quarter to assess Sales Trainers and Sales Representatives.
- Work with key stakeholders in Home Office (Columbus, OH) 50–75% of time to conduct in‑person meetings.
- Support DVP of Sales, Director of Sales and Sr. Manager of Sales Ops as needed.
- Maintain effectiveness of the quality system.
- Implement a comprehensive multi‑year training strategy for all parts of the sales organization, including new hires and current employees.
- Customize and implement fundamental and advanced selling skills training; expand manager coaching training.
- Establish executive management relationships to provide added value to training programs.
- Ensure field trainers are prepared and qualified to conduct appropriate training in the field.
- Assess the effectiveness of materials and training class structure on an ongoing basis.
- Effectively lead a team of trainers to support the total Pediatric Field Sales Force.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 9–15 years of successful experience in managing people and growing talent.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated superior selling/support skills and product knowledge in previous assignments.
- 5–10 years Commercial experience, preferably in ANPD.
- Successful training experience preferred.
Base pay range: $ – $. Pay may vary from the posted range for specific locations.
