Whatyou will be doing
In this role, you will support local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment. You will be the territory’s “go‑to” expert on the applications, technology, installation, and deployment of all ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC product/system/solution offerings.
Key responsibilities- Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands‑on product training, including ongoing assessments and skill development.
- Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
- Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrators’ facilities, trial installations at select end‑user locations, and initial installations with live integration into EAC systems.
- Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
- Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings with electrical contractors and other stakeholders, conduct site surveys and audits with integrators, and verify implemented solutions.
- Strategize with the team to win the highest overall product content.
- Troubleshoot EM and EAC product‑related issues and make operational decisions, preferably in collaboration with the integrator.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about selling a full range of door opening solutions.

- Self‑motivated, accuracy‑focused, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects proficiently.
- Strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
- Ability to work independently while valuing teamwork.
- Understanding of specifications and facility standards, with industry‑related technical and sales aptitude.
- Availability to travel up to 80 % within the assigned territory.
- Capability to perform responsibilities both from a home office and while traveling.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sales presentations.
- College or university degree (preferred in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or a related field) or a high school/GED diploma with commensurate work experience.
- Recommended 2–3 years of industry‑related experience in field sales with EM/EAC/EMAC products and systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience using CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
- Working knowledge of industry‑related software is a plus.
ASSA ABLOY offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a bonus, a 401(k) plan, education assistance, and a company car in a supportive environment. The wage range for this role is $90 K – $110 K and considers a broad scope of factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure, and geographic location.
