Client Relationship Consultant - Group ; HYBRID - Woodcliff Lake, NJ

What You'll Do

As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will partner closely with our Sales team and Broker partners to deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals, provide expert renewal analysis, and deliver outstanding service and selling of new lines of business. This role plays a meaningful part in driving profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in‑force group business through customized strategy implementation, strategy discussions with sales representatives and brokers, and acting as an industry expert and consultant in group benefits.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience in group benefits and/or account management (preferred). State life and health insurance licenses required for all states in which business will be conducted, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment; active life/health license preferred. Must possess excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem‑solving, decision‑making, time‑management, presentation, listening, oral and written communication skills, and analytical abilities.

Advanced math skills required; intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred. Detail oriented, accurate, and able to maintain confidentiality. Occasional travel, including overnight stays and personal transportation to business events, required.

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $109,000 per year for exempt positions. Non‑sales positions may participate in a bonus program; sales positions are eligible for sales incentives and potentially a bonus plan, allowing total compensation to exceed base salary depending on performance.

Flexible Time Off (FTO) provided to salaried employees with pay for vacation, personal or short‑term illness. No accrual of FTO; no set number of days. Pension eligibility:

The role is based in our Woodcliff Lake, NJ field sales office and offers a hybrid arrangement blending office and remote work throughout the week.
