EPAM is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) AWS/Data to join our growing sales organization in Germany, either in Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue related to our AWS and data offerings by working closely with internal Cloud Consulting, Marketing, Alliances and Delivery teams as well as with the cloud provider.
To be successful, you will have to get things done through relationships and influence because you will help identify and originate Cloud project opportunities by several means: own research; joint planning with the EPAM and the Cloud Vendor Account Managers in current client accounts; joint planning with the Cloud Vendor Partner and Vertical Managers; joint proposition developing with the EPAM Cloud Consultants;
and active prospecting.
Your role is that of the skilful originator and coordinator who organizes the meetings and follow-up steps that bring together all the different parties – prospects, clients, account managers, strategists, consultants, technologists and delivery experts on both the EPAM and the Cloud Vendor side – the multi-disciplinary teams who jointly produce the right solutions for our clients.
You need to be outgoing, self-motivated and self-propelled. You will need to proactively build your own pipeline through outbound activities.
Responsibilities Win cloud business for EPAM in new and existing client accounts
Drive all Data and AWS-related sales and marketing activities within your region while collaborating across regions to share knowledge and best practices
Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business value propositions sales plans and RFPs RFQs and RFIs serving as a liaison between Business Units sales partners and executive teams
Work with the assigned partner manager to identify, prepare and deliver product messaging to demonstrate EPAM's value proposition as a trusted systems integrator
Drive joint marketing initiatives with marketing teams
Promote EPAM’s capabilities and success stories across the AWS organisation to stimulate partner-driven lead referrals
Work with assigned partner managers to prepare and deliver solution and product messaging that positions EPAM as a trusted systems integrator
Act as the internal trusted advisor for AWS including coordination with internal product management and managing access to early release programs and product roadmaps
Organise and deliver introductory training sessions and supporting materials such as overview presentations and hands-on workshops to showcase AWS platform features and capabilities
Requirements7+ years of relevant experience across all phases of the sales lifecycle
Proven ability to identify and engage potential clients by articulating EPAM’s value proposition and proactively sourcing prospects through calls emails and Linked In outreach
Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape pitch and submit solution proposals
Experience working with Legal teams to negotiate, prepare and execute contracts
Demonstrated solution-selling skills with a strong track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
Experience with cloud offerings is preferred though not mandatory
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
High energy level with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
Fluent German and English language skills are required
