Overview

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth and create new business opportunities through strategic market development. The SDR will serve as a bridge between sales operations and future opportunities, investigating unverified use cases and testing market viability before reaching the broader sales team. The role is full‑time, in‑office in San Francisco (5 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Develop a qualified and closable pipeline in collaboration with Sales and GTM Strategy teams.
  • Conduct strategic outreach, account research, and multi‑channel engagement (personalized emails, cold calls, social selling, industry events).
  • Facilitate deep‑dive discovery in verified and unverified markets to identify high‑impact opportunities.
  • Create mock‑ups, demonstrations, or proof‑of‑concept applications that illustrate potential solutions using AI‑assisted workflows.
  • Analyze early‑stage data to determine potential scale of new segments and identify effective sales or partnership channels.
  • Work independently in a dynamic, target‑driven environment.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a technical‑leaning research role.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calling and multi‑channel outreach.
  • Excellent research and account‑mapping skills; identify key decision‑makers and uncover business needs.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Linked In Sales Navigator, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related major.

  • Exceeded outbound sales metrics (call, email, opportunity creation targets).
  • Consultative sales approach with early‑stage conversation skills.
  • Rapid learning and articulation of complex solutions, especially in geospatial data, SaaS, or analytics‑driven industries.
  • Experience in fast‑growing or high‑performance sales teams and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to craft compelling, hyper‑personalized outreach based on research and prospect‑specific challenges.
  • Experience with software development or using AI‑assisted coding tools to prototype solutions.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full‑time position at the commencement of employment is $85,600—$106,960 (San Francisco). Short‑term and long‑term incentive (bonus and equity) may also be available. Final salary will be determined by experience, skills, and location.
