Position: Business Development Executive - Software / Web Services sales
Location: New York

Overview

One of our leading IT clients is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive with 1-1.5 yrs of experience in Software / Web Services sales. The role involves generating leads, acquiring new clients, conducting presentations, and driving revenue growth. This is a remote position, but the candidate should be open to travelling for client meetings whenever required.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for software and web services.
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable software or web solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Update sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams for smooth project execution.
  • Travel for client meetings and business development activities as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Sales, Web Services Sales, IT Sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Knowledge of website development, digital solutions, SaaS products, or custom software services.
  • Experience using Linked In and other digital platforms for lead generation.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
