Lead Data Center/Hyperscale Sales Development Representative

Job Overview

Lead and drive sales and account management for hyperscale data center clients, focusing on AI and Cloud Hyperscale sectors. Oversee strategy, team, and revenue targets for a key global account.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic account management: develop & execute plans, serve as primary contact, build long‑term credibility and relationships.
  • Business development: identify new opportunities and partnerships; collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to tailor solutions.
  • Market analysis: monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Customer engagement: maintain relationships, enhance satisfaction, engage with ecosystem partners, convert funnel into wins.
  • Deliver revenue targets: exceed annual sales targets, develop pipeline, forecast sales, track metrics, convert opportunities.
  • Collaboration:

    work closely with cross‑functional teams; some evening communication with Asia required.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years Tier 1 sales experience, 5+ years leading sales teams.
  • Proven record in AI or high‑speed computing industry.
  • Experience in hyperscale data center sales with deep understanding of cloud ecosystems.
  • Track record of building strategic opportunities, negotiating & closing large technology contracts.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate into opportunities.
  • Experience negotiating legal contracts.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Career progression capability and aspiration.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) desirable.
  • Technical engineering undergraduate degree required.
  • Travel 10–20% including international.

  • Sales leadership with record of guiding growth.
  • Result‑oriented and solution‑focused.
  • Influencing skills, strong interpersonal, ability to forge alliances quickly.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior executives.

Location & Travel

Remote, California, United States. Travel 10%–25% required.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $167,500 – 190,000.
