Job Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing commercial team. This is a remote opportunity for an experienced outbound sales professional who enjoys engaging prospective clients, building relationships and creating qualified sales opportunities.
Working closely with the senior sales team, you will conduct targeted outbound prospecting, qualify potential clients and book high-quality meetings that contribute directly to business growth. You'll be supported by structured sales processes, proven messaging, AI-assisted objection handling and modern sales technology.

Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting- Conduct outbound B2B calls to targeted prospect lists.
- Engage prospective clients using structured sales scripts and battle cards.
- Build rapport with decision-makers and generate interest in the company's services.
- Handle objections professionally and confidently to maximise engagement.
- Qualify prospects against agreed criteria.
- Identify client needs and assess sales opportunities.
- Book qualified meetings for the senior sales team.
- Ensure prospects receive a professional and positive first impression of the business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Apollo CRM.
- Record call outcomes, notes and follow-up actions after every interaction.
- Ensure all prospect information is complete and accurately maintained.
- Contribute to maintaining a healthy and organised sales pipeline.
- Share customer feedback and market insights with the wider sales team.
- Identify common objections and opportunities to improve messaging.
- Contribute ideas to refine targeting and prospecting strategies.
- Support continuous improvement of outbound sales campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in outbound B2B sales or sales development.
- Experience making high volumes of outbound prospecting calls.
- Strong objection-handling and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.
- The ability to work independently within a remote environment.
- Experience using Apollo CRM.
- Familiarity with Nooks or similar outbound sales platforms.
- Previous experience booking meetings for senior sales teams.
- Experience using AI-powered sales tools.
- Exposure to Linked In outreach or email prospecting campaigns.
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
- Stable, high-speed internet connection.
- Professional home office environment suitable for remote working.
- Good-quality headset for outbound calling.
