The Field Representative, based in Northern Virginia, promotes energy‑efficient products to retail associates and consumers through in‑store merchandising, promotions, and training. Representing both CLEAResult and its client, Dominion Energy, the field representative conducts outreach activities, builds retailer relationships, maintains detailed records, and collaborates with team members while adhering to company and utility protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide merchandising services to retail partners on a regular basis.
- Audit appliance measure SKU participation in assigned territory.
- Conduct consumer training during store visits.
- Train store owners/managers, sales associates, and other employees.
- Collect store data, including sales information and inventory.
- Enlist retailer participation in cooperative advertising programs.
- Submit merchandising photographs to the home office as requested.
- Operate within the terms and conditions set by the client.
- Recommend enhancements to improve delivery of services.
- Present information one‑on‑one and in front of large groups clearly, concisely, and friendly.
- Promote energy‑efficient products and encourage program participation.
- Maintain current accounts and identify new accounts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to drive an automobile for long distances or extended time frames.
- Friendly, outgoing, organized, efficient, and self‑motivated; capable of working independently and in a team.
- 0–2 years of relevant retail/merchandising experience preferred.
- Salesforce mobile experience is a plus.
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Hourly rate: $18.55 – $26.00 USD, based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, and experience.
