This is a remote position; candidates must be comfortable traveling to each of the store locations.
This position will require you to drive your personal vehicle approximately 55 miles per day in your assigned territory. Mileage may vary depending on where you live in comparison to the territory. A mileage reimbursement of 62 cents per mile will be provided; no car allowance is given.
A Part‑Time role as a Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is a great way for a relationship‑oriented person to flex selling skills while representing Hershey’s brands. TSAs sell and insure best‑in‑class merchandising, including building displays, increasing distribution of top‑selling items, and replenishing permanent secondary displays.
Work ScheduleThis position is considered “Continuous Part‑Time,” working 20–25 hours per week. On average, a TSA will visit 6–10+ accounts per day. The role offers flexible schedules based on personal and territory needs, with core hours of 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
CompensationThe hourly starting rate is $15.50–$16.50 per hour, varying by skill, experience, and geographic location.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory, ensuring flawless retail execution of the Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans.
- Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within the territory.
- Submit daily activity reports using tablets upon completion of each day.
- Manage sales territory, which varies based on size, number of retailers, and location.
- Must have a valid U.S. state‑issued driver’s license.
- Must own a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
- Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
- Must reside or be willing to commute within the territory boundaries listed above.
- Must be able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily.
- Must be able to lift 10–40 lbs. regularly.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently.
- Must be able to use tablet technology.
- Must have daily access to wireless internet.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in territory coverage.
- Availability to work 20–25 hours per week.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - Experience:
3–4 years of food merchandising preferred but not required.
