Architectural Consultant

Location:

Western Washington.

As an Architectural Consultant, you will work closely with architectural professionals to advise on door opening designs and specifications using our Openings Studio BIM software. You will drive relationships, educate clients, and promote our solution portfolio.

• Cultivate consulting relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
• Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
• Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
• Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design‑assist professional services.
• Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
• Utilize  as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
• Work alongside a committed team of professional consultants providing specification support to top architectural firms.
• Serve as the point‑of‑contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
• Be responsible for architectural development, project tracking and ultimately gaining approval for internal writers to prepare Division 08 door and hardware specification documents.
• Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value‑added professional services.

• Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
• Can lift/carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations.

• College/University degree preferred (architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or related curricula) or minimum high school/GED diploma with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of industry‑related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design‑Build construction management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Working knowledge of industry‑related software is a plus.

Competitive compensation and benefits package, including discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, education assistance, company car, and paid time off for thirteen holidays and ten vacation days. The wage range for this role is $80,000 – $95,000.
