This senior FIT sales leadership role covers bespoke luxury itineraries across Southern and East Africa, combining direct client sales with team leadership within a small, high‑performing international operator. You will lead a boutique, luxury safari tour operator specialising in fully bespoke FIT safaris, crafting journeys for discerning international clients.

• Lead and develop the safari sales team day‑to‑day.
• Manage your own direct FIT safari enquiries and convert them to confirmed bookings.
• Build and present bespoke luxury itineraries across southern and east Africa.
• Drive individual and team revenue targets.
• Act as a destination‑knowledge resource for the wider sales team.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager on team performance and pipeline.
• Collaborate with the operations team on handover and background support post‑sale.
• Uphold industry‑leading service standards across every client interaction.

• Minimum 5 years’ direct FIT safari sales experience at a senior level.
• Extensive firsthand travel knowledge of both southern and east Africa — essential.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor a sales team, formally or informally.
• Strong track record of converting high‑value, bespoke enquiries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in MS Office;
  Salesforce experience an advantage.
• Highly organised, structured and detail‑focused with strong attention to quality.
• Able to work independently and lead from a remote, home‑office environment.
