Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Injection Molding Business Development Manager to join our team in the Contract Manufacturing space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic sales, with a focus on medical device companies that need injection molding, micromolding, thermoplastic, liquid silicone rubber, and high-consistency rubber manufacturing services. You will have the opportunity to lead and grow our business, driving sales and developing new opportunities in the market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to expand our customer base and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative injection molding solutions for our clients.
  • Drive the sales process from plan to close, ensuring that all targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and the sales team.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, setting goals, and ensuring they are met.
  • Prepare and present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in injection molding and the engineering industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the plastics industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development in the injection molding sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, including micromolding, thermoplastic, liquid silicone rubber, and high consistency rubber.
  • Experience selling to medical device OEM's.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and prospects.
