Baker Roofing Company – Customer Care Specialist

Responsible for placing outbound phone calls, texts, and emails to prospective and existing customers to generate interest and set up appointments for Baker Sales Professionals.

Summary

Coordinate outbound communications, maintain accuracy within the CRM, and support sales initiatives by scheduling appointments and ensuring customer engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    Minimum High School Graduate / College Preferred
  • Years of

    Experience:

    Minimum of 1 year outbound sales/appointment setting
  • Certifications:

    None
  • Language

    Skills:

    Must speak English fluently
  • Driver License:
    Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse people
  • Motivated and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively
  • Accuracy in CRM updates and assignment of work to other individuals within the company
Essential Functions
  • Manage lead files and prioritize steps to maximize utilization
  • Communicate with customers regarding Baker offerings, scheduling, and follow‑through
  • Work simultaneously within CRM/Salesforce/Excel and other tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related software
  • Assist in scheduling sales personnel
  • Work within a team with a cooperative spirit
  • Notify management of trends or issues in the customer interaction process
  • Work schedule flexibility (occasional work from home)
  • Adapt to changing work processes
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed and requested
Work Environment
  • Prolonged use of computer: typing, reading, sitting
