Remote (Connecticut-Based Preferred) | Healthcare Revenue Cycle | Executive Sales

We're partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare services organization seeking a Director of Healthcare Sales to drive strategic growth within the community health sector. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead business development efforts focused on Federally Qualified Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural & Tribal Health organizations.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities within the FQHC, Community Health Center, Critical Access Hospital, and Rural/Tribal Health markets.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive healthcare leaders, including CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CMOs, and other key decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Present complex revenue cycle and consulting solutions that address operational and financial challenges.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Forecast revenue, monitor pipeline health, and consistently achieve sales goals.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and association meetings.
  • Stay current on healthcare reimbursement trends, regulatory changes, and challenges impacting safety-net providers.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to develop strategic sales initiatives and market expansion plans.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare sales experience
    , including direct sales to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
  • At least 2 years in a Director, Sales Leader, or comparable leadership role
    .
  • Proven success selling Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), healthcare consulting, medical billing, practice management, or related healthcare services
    .
  • Experience working with Community Health Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and Tribal Health organizations is highly preferred.
  • Strong executive presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage forecasting and sales performance.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5–10% for client meetings and industry conferences.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational and strategic planning skills.
